About the trend

What is the Nightwing AI trend?

Nightwing AI is a Halloween costume-reveal trend that swept Spanish-speaking TikTok in October 2026. Someone in everyday clothes raises a blue eye mask, flicks an arm out of frame, and the cut reveals them in a black bodysuit with a blue V, dancing with a glowing stick in each hand. Every version copies a clip by Bethcast, posted on October 5, 2026 with the caption “Buenas noches” and the song Stereo Love Funk. It has passed fourteen million plays. Her outfit is a simple, wearable take on Nightwing, the DC Comics hero.

On October 18, the first AI remake swapped in a well-known streamer and passed 1.9 million plays. By October 20, Nightwing AI videos were everywhere on Spanish-language TikTok. With this generator, the person in your photo starts in their own clothes and ends in a plain black suit with a blue V. It is an unofficial fan version with no logos.

Tutorial

How to make a Nightwing AI video

No costume, no props, no rehearsal. The suit, the sticks and the choreography come from the template. You just bring a photo and your “before” outfit.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Choose Nightwing transformation

It is the version every AI remake is based on, and it is already selected in the generator above.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Upload one photo

One adult, full body or at least knee-up, with a clear face. Whatever they wear in the photo is the outfit before the flick.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Confirm permission

Tick the box to confirm it is you or an adult who agreed. Your upload is kept if you sign in or top up credits in between.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Generate

Press the button and the clip renders in the background. Feel free to leave; it will be in My videos when it is ready.

  5. 05

    Step 5: Download

Save it as an MP4 with one tap.

  6. 06

    Step 6: Share

Post to TikTok with the AI-generated content label on, and tag whoever is wearing the suit.

Photo tips

Best photo for a Nightwing AI video

The clip opens with the person from your photo standing against a wall in their own clothes and ends on a close-up of the masked face. So you need both a full-body view and a sharp face. The mask hides the eyes, which means the nose, mouth, jaw and hair carry the likeness, and hair matters even more because it flies during the dance. The outfit in your photo becomes the “before” look, so ordinary clothes make the reveal funnier. Stand naturally; the moves come from the template.

  • Sample photo: a man in his forties with short dark hair and a goatee, wearing a plaid flannel shirt, jeans and brown boots, standing full length against a plain wall with his face clearly visible

  • Face too smallTryMove closer: waist-up or full body

Do

  • One adult alone in the photo
  • Full body, or at least knee-up
  • Clear, front-facing face with hair visible
  • Natural light or a bright room, minimal filters

Avoid

  • Streamers, celebrities or the original creator
  • Group shots or tiny, distant faces
  • Sunglasses, hats, hoods or costumes
  • Children, public figures or anyone who has not agreed

Trend history

Where did the Nightwing AI trend come from?

The Nightwing name dates back 42 years, but the Halloween clip became an AI trend in just two weeks. Dates come from TikTok posts, a March online guide and the 1984 comic itself.

  1. 1984

    Robin becomes Nightwing

In DC Comics’ Tales of the Teen Titans #44, Dick Grayson leaves the Robin role and becomes Nightwing. His weapons are a pair of escrima sticks, the two batons seen in every version of the trend.

  2. March 2026

    An early Nightwing AI dance

An earlier Nightwing AI dance circulates on TikTok, turning selfies into the hero and animating them to a funk track. Tutorials are online by March 18.

  3. October 5, 2026

    Bethcast’s Halloween reveal

Bethcast posts her mask-on reveal in a Nightwing costume, set to Stereo Love Funk with the caption “Buenas noches.” It passes fourteen million plays.

  4. October 18, 2026

    The first AI version

An AI version puts a famous streamer in her place and swaps in a joke costume, asking “¿Ya tienen sus disfraces?” It passes 1.9 million plays.

  5. October 19–20, 2026

    More streamers, full suit

More AI versions follow with other Spanish-speaking streamers, some in the full black-and-blue suit. Two more each pass a million plays.

Troubleshooting

Nightwing AI video not looking right?

The clip starts full body and ends in a face close-up, so your photo has to work at both distances.

  • My legs and shoes look made up

Your photo cuts off at the waist, so the AI invented the rest of the “before” outfit. Use a knee-up or full-body shot.

  • I don’t look like myself in the mask

With the eyes hidden, your nose, mouth, jaw and hair do the work. Use a sharp, front-facing photo in good light with no smoothing or face-reshaping filters.

  • The dancer has someone else’s hair

If long brown hair with bangs appears and it is not yours, the clip followed the original dancer. Use a photo where your hair is clearly visible, without a hat or hood, and try again.

  • A logo appeared on the suit

The suit should be plain black with a blue V. If a logo, bird emblem or lettering appears, regenerate instead of posting it.

  • The upload fails

JPG, PNG and WEBP are supported. If an iPhone HEIC photo won’t open, screenshot it and upload the screenshot.

  • The video never finished

Failed renders refund their credits automatically. Upload the photo again and press generate.

The reveal is the punchline, so keep the caption short and any text away from the face. Most posts in this trend are in Spanish, so feel free to mix languages.

  • Reveal who suited up

It lands harder when people know who is under the mask. Add their name or job title as on-screen text.

  • Add the AI label

Switch on TikTok’s AI-generated content label. The room and the moves look real, and nobody should think the person actually filmed this.

Nightwing AI FAQ

How do I make a Nightwing AI video?

No prompt needed. Upload one photo of yourself or a consenting adult at the top of this page, ideally full body, confirm and press generate. Download the MP4 and post it with the AI label on.

Do I need a Nightwing costume?

No. The suit, the mask and the two sticks come from the template. The only outfit you pick is the one in your photo, which you wear before the arm flick.

Can two of us do it as a couples costume?

Each video uses one photo, so one person suits up. For a couple or group, make one each and post them back to back so you transform one after another.

Can I make one of my kid for Halloween?

No. Photos of anyone under 18 are not allowed, costume or not. Make one of yourself and let them write the caption.

Can I use a streamer or celebrity photo like the TikTok versions?

No. Every photo must show you or a consenting adult, never a celebrity, streamer or other public figure, and not Bethcast either. It is funnier with someone your friends actually know.

What happens to my photo?

It is used only for your video and deleted when you delete that video. Your clip stays private unless you share it, and uploads are never used to train AI models.

Why was my photo rejected?

Only JPG, PNG and WEBP files are accepted. iPhone HEIC photos sometimes won’t open in a browser, so upload a screenshot instead. Large files are resized automatically.
