How Copy AI Video handles your photos, prompts, pasted links, generated videos, account and payment details, and how to get any of it deleted.

Copy AI Video (copyaivideo.com) lets you remake trending TikTok AI videos from a photo you upload, and generate AI videos from text or images. This policy explains what data we collect to provide that, how we use it, and how long we keep it. Send any questions to support@copyaivideo.com.

Summary

  • Your photos are only used to create your video. They are deleted when you delete the video. Photos uploaded but never used are deleted within 24 hours.
  • Each photo is automatically screened for nudity and sexual content, and the AI video model runs a second check.
  • We never sell your photos or videos, and never use them to train AI models. Your videos are private to your account and only appear on this site if you choose to share them.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.

Information we collect

  • Account: your email address and name, plus your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • Uploaded photos: the image file, stored in our cloud storage until you delete the video it was used for. Unused uploads are deleted within 24 hours.
  • Prompts and descriptions: text you enter in Text to video, Image to video or a template, stored with the resulting video until you delete it.
  • TikTok links pasted on the home page: the link, the video ID and a one-way hash of your IP address, which tell us which trends people want templates for. We never download the linked video.
  • Generated videos: the finished video, stored so you can download it again from My videos.
  • Payments: what you bought, when, and how much. Card details stay with our payment provider (Stripe).
  • Usage data: pages visited, buttons that started a purchase or a video, and basic device and browser information, collected through our own logs and privacy-friendly analytics.

How we use your information

  • To create your video: your photo (with the template’s description), or your prompt and image, is sent to our AI video provider, which returns the video. The provider processes this data only to produce your video.
  • To keep the service safe: every photo is screened (see the next section).
  • To manage your account: sign-in, credits, purchases, receipts and support.
  • To keep the service reliable and fair: fixing failed renders, refunding credits and preventing abuse.

How uploads are screened

  • Each uploaded photo is screened for nudity and sexual content by an automated content safety service while your video is being created.
  • Any sexual content involving a minor is refused and reported to the authorities where required by law.
  • The AI video models we use also run their own checks and refuse violent, sexual or hateful requests. If a model refuses a render, the credits are returned to your balance.
  • When a photo fails screening, we record the account and the reason so repeated attempts can be blocked.
  • The content safety service receives the photo only to screen it.

Data retention

  • Uploaded photos: kept until you delete the video they were used for, then deleted. Photos never used for a video are deleted within 24 hours.
  • Finished videos: kept while your account exists so you can download them again. Deleting a video deletes its photos, prompt and description; we keep a copy of the video file for support and safety purposes. Deleting your account deletes your videos too.
  • Nothing is public unless you share it: your videos appear only in My videos. A video appears on the site only if you share it, and only until you stop sharing or delete it.
  • Pasted links: kept to help us decide which trends to add next, and deleted with your account.
  • Payment records: kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after the account is deleted.

Trend clips shown on this site

Trend clips on our pages are short previews hosted by us, each credited to its creator with a link to the original post. Creators can request removal of a clip through our contact page, and we will remove it promptly.

Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have given consent. Do not upload photos of children, public figures or anyone who has not agreed. Memorial templates are the one exception: you may upload a photo of a family member, friend or pet who has passed away, as long as you have the right to use it. We never use photos to identify people and do not build facial recognition databases.

Who we share data with

  • AI video provider: receives your photo to generate the video.
  • Content safety service: receives each uploaded photo to screen it before a video is made.
  • Cloud storage and hosting: stores files and runs the site.
  • Payment provider (Stripe): processes payments.
  • Email provider: sends sign-in codes and receipts.

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Profile, which also deletes your videos, photos and credits. You can also request a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by writing to support@copyaivideo.com. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top and notify account holders by email.
